For the final exam at the BLUSH ACADEMY, they finally released the theme last week: MAGNIFICENT METALLICS. Sunday the 25th of June, me and my classmates will collaborate with a make-up artist and a photographer for a fashionshoot. Woohoo, I’m already really excited! Want to join us? Check out the eventpage and be prepared for a day full of fashion, make-up, music, drinks and BLUSH.
Last weekend I’ve went to the festival Extrema Outdoor and I can tell you; the festival fever is on! As I’ve promised you in the previous blogpost, it’s time to show you some festival outfits today. Let’s start with my 3 favorite festivaltrends for this summer!
FESTIVAL TREND I.
A colourful etnic playsuit, a striped jumpsuit or a two piece suit with big printed flowers: you can decide! My playsuit is from the Doutzen’s Summer Stories by Hunkemöller.
There’s a new summeroutfit online! You can wear this outfit to go to work, to go for a night out or even at a festival. The midi skirt from LESS is really easy to combine, even with a summersweater. White sneakers and a white V-neck cropped top, and you’re ready to go!
Keep an eye on the blog, cause there are more festivalsoutfits to come! ;-)
Last thursday it was time again for another eveningclass at the Blush Academy. I’m always looking forward to this, jeej! This time we talked about lingeriestyling. Today I’ll give you some tips and tricks in this blogpost!
►THE PEFECT SIZE. Always buy your panties one size bigger than usual, definitely when you’re wearing a thong. It’s not pretty when your panties are way too small.
►YOUR BOOBS. A bra should never leave marks in your skin. When it does, it’s unfortunately too small. It’s also important that a bra never gaps on the top; it should connect with your skin.
►MIX AND MATCH.
It’s always better to choose one style for your bra and panty, for example black lace. You’ll feel more comfortable and you never know what happens ;-)
►ADVICE, DON’T THINK TWICE. When you’re not sure about something, just ask for advice. People who work in these kind of lingeriestores can give you their honest opinion and tips&tricks.
►IT’S A DATE.
Don’t wear a bra longer than 8 (!) months. After this period, your bra isn’t unfortunately that supportive anymore.
►EVERYDAY I’M SHUFFLIN’.
Always start with the first hook; this is the last hook at the end of the bra. After a couple of weeks, you can change to the second one, because your bra will be more elastic.
►WASH WASH. Don’t forget to wash your bra in a small bag, especially for the washing machine. The hook can destroy your other clothes!
►COLOURS DON’T FADE AWAY. If you want to wash your lingerie for the first time, you should leave your lingerie for half an hour in a small bowl of water and vinegar, because your colour will last longer.
